European Networks
DCMR participates in EUROCITIES, in order to exchange information on the implementation of environmental legislation, environmental policy and environmental monitoring. The DCMR also participates in specific technological networks such as noise protection, safety auditing and IPPC technical working groups.
EUROCITIES
EUROCITIES is a network of major European cities. Founded in 1986, the network brings together the local governments of more than 120 large cities in over 30 European countries. EUROCITIES provides a platform for its member cities to share knowledge and ideas, to exchange experiences, to analyse common problems and develop innovative solutions, through a wide range of forums, working groups, projects, activities and events. The DCMR and the city of Rotterdam participate in the working group on environment.
